Who is responsible for your information
INNETWORK Technology Limited is the organisation responsible for the personal information described on this page. We are registered in Northern Ireland under company number NI739529.
For privacy questions or requests, email support@innetworktechnology.com. Please do not send passwords, access credentials or sensitive system information by email, through the contact form or in the AI assistant.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to answer an enquiry, operate this website, protect it from misuse and understand whether its content is useful.
- Contact-form details: name, work email, organisation, Northern Ireland location, telephone number, area of interest and the message you submit.
- AI assistant content: the questions you enter and recent conversation supplied for continuity. A limited public-page path is also supplied; the server maps recognised paths and sections to approved labels rather than forwarding arbitrary browser headings or page titles to the AI provider.
- Technical information: page views, referrer, approximate location, device, operating system and browser information collected through privacy-focused website analytics.
- Security information: limited network and request information used temporarily to detect abuse, enforce rate limits and investigate service problems.
Why we use it
We use personal information only where we have a clear purpose and a lawful basis under UK data-protection law.
- Answering enquiries
- To understand your requirement, reply to you and take steps you request before a possible contract.
- Operating securely
- To keep the website and its services reliable, prevent misuse and protect INNETWORK and its visitors. We rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure service.
- Improving our work
- To understand website use and use feedback or conversations to improve our services and products. We use aggregated or limited information where practical.
- Marketing emails
- The website enquiry form does not enrol you in marketing. Any separate marketing subscription requires an appropriate lawful basis and a clear way to unsubscribe.
- Meeting obligations
- To retain or disclose information where the law requires it, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Marketing choices
Marketing email permission is separate from a contact enquiry. The current enquiry form does not offer a marketing subscription and submits no marketing consent.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or by contacting support@innetworktechnology.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect how we respond to an enquiry you have already sent.
AI assistant and conversation memory
The website assistant is an AI service, not a human adviser. Your message and recent chat history are sent to Google’s generative AI service to produce a response. AI replies may be incomplete or incorrect, so important decisions should be confirmed with our team.
For continuity, up to 24 recent chat messages are stored in your browser for up to seven days. This browser copy can be removed at any time with the clear-conversation control. A short-lived browser-session record prevents the same contextual suggestion appearing repeatedly.
The assistant may receive the public page title and the section currently in view so that its response is relevant. This does not give it access to other browser tabs, files, passwords or private systems.
Do not include sensitive information: Never enter passwords, access tokens, payment details, health information or confidential security data in the AI assistant.
Website analytics and browser storage
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated page views and basic website usage. Vercel states that this service does not use cookies and does not identify visitors across different days or websites.
The AI assistant uses local storage and session storage in your browser. These technologies are not cookies, but we explain them in our Cookie policy because they store information on your device.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, to maintain business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect the service. The exact period depends on the nature of the enquiry and whether it leads to a client relationship.
Chat history stored in your browser expires after seven days and is limited to 24 recent messages. Browser-session records expire when that session ends. Service providers may retain limited records under their own service terms and our arrangements with them.
How we protect information
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures including input validation, request limits, restricted origins, access controls and secure service credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please send only the information needed for your enquiry.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and our lawful basis, you may have the following rights. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
- Access
- Ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you.
- Correction
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure
- Ask us to delete information where the law gives you that right.
- Restriction
- Ask us to limit how information is used in certain circumstances.
- Objection
- Object where processing is based on legitimate interests or used for direct marketing.
- Portability
- Ask for eligible information in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
Complaints: Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
